time to go by ephemeral-d time to go by ephemeral-d
ballpoint pen on carton/ paper

Idea came, while reading the great letters of the french revolutionist Mirabeu ( but his love letters are awful!). So I tried to draw him, while reading him:) There are rumours that he was killed by Jesuits ( but that's no problem, cause in Jesuit believe they are allowed to kill, torture, lie and everything, as long as it is "well- meant", you can always find reasons, when you search long enough, so it is quite comfortable for them and it is of course always for religion, what they do ;))

First I wanted to call this "estranged", like the song from Guns n' Roses, but "time to go" seems to fit better.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"And you don't talk so loud
An you don't walk so proud
Any more, AND WHAT FOR?"

estranged; Guns n' Roses

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-"Not their love of humanity, but the impotence of their love, prevents the Christians of today - burning us. "

-"Just look at the faces of the great Christians! They are the faces of great haters."

-"When on a Sunday morning we hear the old bells ring out, we ask ourselves, “Is it possible! This is done on account of a Jew crucified two thousand years ago who said he was the Son of God. The proof of such an assertion is wanting". "
(One of my favorites from him, this one made me really laugh out loud!:giggle:)
"
-"What was formerly merely sickly now becomes indecent : it is indecent to be a Christian today. "

-"I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough, I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race. "

-"The Christian resolve to find the world ugly and bad, has made the world ugly and bad. "

-"But this people has deliberately made itself stupid, for nearly a millennium: nowhere have the two great European narcotics, alcohol and Christianity, been abused more dissolutely. "

Nietzsche

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul Auster , "My feeling is that all artists are damaged people, I've slowly come to this conclusion over many years..."
on BBCTalkingBooks

-"We are all aliens to ourselves.”

-"Everything can change at any moment, suddenly and forever."

-“but even the facts do not always tell the truth”

-“As long as a man had the courage to reject what society told him to do, he could live life on his own terms. To what end? To be free. But free to what end? To read books, to write books, to think.”

“To leave the world a little better than you found it. That's the best a man can ever do.”

“عندما اكتب لا تهمني الغرفة التي أشغلها. المساحة الحقيقية للكتابة هي الصفحة أمام انفي، عندما اكتب كل الغرف تصبح خفيّة”
( Don't know what it means, so it is a little bit risky;), but it looks good somehow :D)

“Our lives carry us along in ways we cannot control, and almost nothing stays with us. It dies when we do, and death is something that happens to us every day.”

-" In the end, each life is irreducible to anything other than itself. Which is as much as to say: lives make no sense.”

-“Do you know what happened the last time a nation listened to a bush?" Honey asks.
No one says a word.
"Its people wandered in the desert for forty years.”

Paul Auster

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-"Few persons comprehend the power of ugliness."

-"Religion is no more national than conscience."

Mirabeau
